DRM and MERL Officer
I joined RAAGSAN at the start of 2023 as a Research Field Officer supporting Disaster Risk Resilience (DRM) and Water Resources Management. Today, I confidently wear multiple hats: field researcher, supervisor, coordinator, DRR officer, and water and irrigation specialist. My work takes me across diverse regions of Somalia, allowing me to gather valuable insights and data. Every day at RAAGSAN is a new learning experience. The diversity in educational and cultural backgrounds of my team members enriches our work and my personal development. I am constantly motivated and inspired by the challenges and opportunities that come my way. I am looking forward to expanding my expertise. My experience at RAAGSAN is more than just a job; it’s a pathway to becoming the best professional I can be.
