I started working at RAAGSAN as the Legal and MERL Officer in November 2023. My focus within the organization revolves around programs on security and the rule of law, access to justice, alternative dispute resolution, and transitional justice. As I’ve settled into my role, I’ve grown to confidently shoulder a diverse range of responsibilities. What truly sets my work apart is the incredible privilege of traversing various corners of Somalia, collecting data and interacting with different communities. RAAGSAN has provided me with an opportunity to create meaningful change, and continues to be a source of inspiration that keeps me driven and motivated.

Our work spans policy down to grass-roots levels. We value both an intimate and accurate understanding of people being served by humanitarian and development investments in Somali as well as the policy and program design of investments intended to assist those populations.
