Field Operations Officer
In 2024, my role as a Field Operations Officer with RAAGSAN on the Socio-economic Participation of Poor Female-Headed Households (SEPOW) project in Kismayo was transformative. The project aimed to reduce poverty and improve the lives of vulnerable populations by enhancing their socio-economic participation. Through this experience, I developed valuable skills in community engagement, context analysis, and project implementation. Collaborating with local stakeholders allowed me to facilitate participatory discussions effectively, ensuring community voices were heard and mitigating exclusion
risks. Working in Kismayo’s dynamic environment honed my problem-solving skills and adaptability. The SEPOW project reinforced the importance of local partnerships and sustainable development practices, equipping me to drive impactful results through inclusive approaches. This experience deepened my commitment to fostering long-term change and contributing to RAAGSAN’s mission through operational excellence.
