Throughout this year, I have gained invaluable knowledge and practical experience in monitoring and evaluation practices, particularly in the Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and water sectors. Key projects included the Somali Gender and Climate Adaptation (SOMGC) and Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) initiatives, where I analyzed adaptive capacities to climate-related risks in Somalia. Additionally, my contributions to projects like Baxnaano, First Line Response, and Danwadaag supported RAAGSAN’s efforts against poverty and inequality while building resilient communities. The collaborative environment at RAAGSAN has been instrumental in advocating for vulnerable communities’ voices while aligning with the organization’s mission to shape a better future for youth, women, and vulnerable groups. This was achieved through deliberate planning, commitment, hard work, skilled execution by a diverse team that values excellence and integrity.
