As a Research Officer with extensive experience in security, rule of law, social protection, and political economy, I led various projects that drove substantial outcomes. Key initiatives included the Socio-economic Participation of Poor Female-Headed Households (SEPOW) project in Kismayo with GTS and GIZ, a Rapid Context Analysis for the TERRA project by BRCiS consortium across four geographic clusters, and addressing displacement challenges with GIST-IOM in Baidoa and Dolow. My journey at RAAGSAN deepened my understanding of community needs while fostering personal growth through collaborative work on diverse teams. I developed critical skills in project management, communication, and community engagement emphasizing empathy and adaptability as essential tools for problem-solving.
