Well, 2023 has been quite a journey for me as Business Development & MERL Coordinator at RAAGSAN. I joined RAAGSAN two years ago, and I am based in Hargeisa, where I lead and coordinate the development of bids and field research projects across the Somali regions as well as Somaliland. Throughout this year, I had the privilege of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, including donors, clients, implementing partners, colleagues, field researchers, and community members. RAAGSAN has afforded me the opportunity to travel across the Horn of Africa, immersing myself in various regions and gaining valuable insights from the communities and field teams I encounter. It has indeed been a year filled with achievements, challenges, and growth. I have personally gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, honing my skills and resilience along the way, which has impacted both my professional and personal growth. I am also grateful for the valuable lessons learned and the opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of RAAGSAN.
